Michael Barcum is Co-Founder & President of Peaceful Family Solutions, a nonprofit that gives children in Oklahoma an opportunity to break the cycle of addiction. Mike has recently restarted his old company a Multi State distribution company Commercial Distributing Inc.
Mike co-founded PFS in 2014 after retiring from 30 years in the corporate sector. Prior to PFS, he served as Senior Vice President for Old World Industries in Chicago, President of Split Fire Spark Plugs, President of Peak Anti Freeze, and owner/CEO of companies including Commercial Distributing, Inc., Hands Free Communication, Arctic Edge Ice Arena and i3G Corp.
After years of watching his son battle addiction, Mike and his wife Susan became co-guardians of their young grandchildren. After finding a significant lack of services and resources available to help the children of addicts, they were determined to build a program that specifically addresses their unique challenges with a proactive educational program that engages kids to avoid the cycle of drug and alcohol abuse.
Mike also serves as a consultant for ESCCO, providing volunteer management expertise to Oklahoma nonprofits
Brent Katigan is a Licensed Alcohol, Drug, and Mental Health Counselor (MA, LADC/MH) and currently the Executive Director of Peaceful Family Solutions in the Oklahoma City area. Peaceful Family Solutions is a 501 (c) 3 organization that is serving grandparents and kinship families raising grandchildren, children from homes where addiction and other forms of psychological trauma is prevalent, and assisting families with adjustment and re-unification concerns.
In addition to facilitating the Children’s Educational and Prevention Programs for Peaceful Family Solutions, Brent is a Provider and facilitates family interventions, provides EMDR for survivors of psychological trauma, and facilitates relapse prevention-family and youth groups. Brent has taught Family and Group Dynamics at Oklahoma State University (Oklahoma City). He has been working with people who are afflicted by substance abuse and mental health challenges since 1986. He became certified in 1989.
His academics include Psychology, Social Work, and Substance Abuse Studies. He was trained in conducting professional Interventions in 1992. He is a Master Trainer in teaching others to prevent suicide; certified by Living Works, Calgary Canada. He has 30 years of experience in Residential, Out-Patient, and Intensive Out-Patient Treatment.
Frank Naifeh is President of Naifeh & Associates, an accounting, tax and business consulting firm for over thirty-eight years in Oklahoma City and Edmond. He currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Jim Thorpe Association, Treasurer of Peaceful Family Solutions, and also Treasurer of the POA at Esperanza office park.
Frank was the recipient of the 2005 Abe Lemons Award for his dedication and loyalty to Oklahoma and the Jim Thorpe Association and also was the recipient of the 2014 George Nigh Oklahoma Appreciation Award for his mission and goals to the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame.
Naifeh is also member, of the American Institute of Tax Studies, Oklahoma Society of Public Accountants, Accreditation Council of Accountancy & Taxation, Inc. and the National Society of Tax Professionals.
Frank attended St. Gregory’s College and Oklahoma State University.
Frank is married to Saundra Gragg-Naifeh, former Mayor of the City of Edmond. He has two children, daughter Danielle, her husband Chad and son Blake and his wife Stephanie and five beautiful grandchildren. He enjoys golf, travel and most of all, spending time with family and friends.
Brian is managing member of Align Wealth Management, a fee-only wealth management firm. Business Week listed Brian among the Top 50 most experienced independent financial advisors in the United States. He has also worked as an attorney with Fowler White in Tampa and as a CPA with Price Waterhouse Coopers. Brian is the proud father of his only son, Jay.
Outside work, Brian enjoys a number of sporting activities, including bicycling, running, and paddle boarding. Having witnessed the devastating impact of addiction, Brian is passionate about the mission of Peaceful Family Solutions.
Jeff Davis is the Founding Partner of Acorn Growth Companies, an aerospace and defense focused private equity firm based in Oklahoma City. Since inception, the firm has grown to over $200 million in assets under management and 15 portfolio companies located in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Davis has provided leadership in all aspects of the firm’s operations and portfolio development activities and currently manages the firm’s Services and Finance Portfolios. Mr. Davis serves on Acorn’s governance and investment committees, and supports Acorn’s investor relations’ functions.
He is heavily involved with deal sourcing, due diligence, transition support and portfolio management. Prior to joining Acorn, Mr. Davis spent time in both the private and public sectors. His public sector life has included responsibilities in government contracting, incentive management and bond financing, while his private sector experience has included technology business start-ups, including a private company focused on distance learning and e-commerce.
He launched Acorn in 2000 as a seed-level investment boutique and incubator in Aerospace & Defense before the firm shifted its focus to later stage opportunities in 2004.
He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Aerospace Industry Association, the preeminent trade association for America’s Aerospace & Defense industry. He serves on a number of local boards and commissions, and was appointed by Governor Mary Fallin to the State’s Long Range Capital Planning Commission, which he chaired for two years. Mr. Davis is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Oklahoma Business Roundtable.
Davis is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from the Walton School of Business. He is also a graduate of the Institute for Organization Management at Southern Methodist University, and he attended The Academy for Organization Management at the University of Notre Dame.
He resides in Edmond with his wife and has two married sons, and one granddaughter.
Donny Hector brings 21 years of banking experience to his position as first vice president of MidFirst Private Bank. Donny specializes in relationship management of professionals and executives in health care, legal, accounting, architectural and other professional service areas.
Donny earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Oklahoma State University and a master’s in business administration, with an emphasis on finance, from the University of Tulsa.
Dr. Kevin Rykard, DDS
Dr. Kevin Rykard received his dental training at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors. He established his private practice in Oklahoma City. He has served on several boards and has lectured around the country to dental professionals. Throughout his career, Dr. Rykard has been a member of several prestigious professional organizations, including:

Kevin is married and has three daughters. Both he and his family enjoy traveling, particularly beaches in South Carolina.
Dan Davis is an attorney in Oklahoma City. Dan and his wife, Joy, recently completed renovations on the historic Calvary Baptist Church located at the corner of Walnut and 2nd street in the historic Deep Deuce section of downtown Oklahoma City, which the Law Office of Dan Davis now calls home. Dan and Joy have three children, Andrew, Emily and Sam. They are involved in a number of causes and charities in their adopted hometown and elsewhere.
Valerie Naifeh is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma and resides in Oklahoma City. She is a graduate of the University of Tulsa, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1986 with a BA in English Literature. In 1984 while attending college, Valerie secured an apprenticeship with a local jewelry designer and manufacturer. As well as learning model making, lost wax casting, stone setting and finishing, Valerie learned gemstone and pearl buying in Asian markets, frequently traveling to Bangkok and Hong Kong.
After working for other jewelers for fourteen years, Valerie opened a fine jewelry lease department in 1998 inside of Balliet’s in 50 Penn Place. Naifeh Fine Jewelry has been in its current location at Casady Square since 2002. Located on the Southwest corner of Penn and Britton the 4000 sq.ft. space features a retail showroom, offices and a manufacturing studio. Naifeh Fine Jewelry is a full service fine jewelry store that specializes in designer jewelry and custom design as well as engagement rings, wedding bands, loose diamonds and gemstones and appraisal services. Naifeh Fine Jewelry is one of only 5% of national retail stores that qualify for membership to the American Gem Society.
In 2012 Valerie formed Naifeh Design, a wholesale company for which she designs two lines of jewelry that are sold to other fine retail stores outside of the state.
Valerie is the recipient of numerous industry awards including the Diamonds Today Award from DeBeers (1990 & 1994), the Japanese International Pearl Competition (1994), and Colored Stone Magazine’s Designer of the Year (2006).
Valerie is actively involved in many non-profit organizations in the greater Oklahoma City community including Oklahoma City Beautiful and the Alzheimer’s Organization. She is a current board member of Peaceful Family Solutions and Allied Arts. She was the 2014 Maureen Reagan award recipient for the Alzheimer’s Association. She was named one of “Forty under Forty” in 2002, is a past nominee for the Journal Record’s Woman of the Year, and Naifeh Fine Jewelry has twice made the Oklahoma City Chamber’s Metro 50 list of fastest growing companies.
Valerie has been married to Brad Naifeh of Oklahoma City for 26 years and is mother to Leigh, 21 years, and step-mother to Megan Fleischfresser. Megan and her husband, Kyle, just had their first daughter, Agnes, on June 9th of this year, and so now Brad and Valerie are grandparents!
In 1983 John started his own car dealership in Guthrie, OK, John Vance Motors. Since then it has grown to six car dealerships all located in the state of Oklahoma. Between the six, they sell all American made vehicles. John is married with four children and nine grandchildren.
John was honored to serve on the General Motors and Ford Advisory Boards for several years. He is also a partner in a home building business and has served on the Oklahoma Motor vehicle Commission. Currently he is the chairman of the board at Valor Bank.
John believes in supporting the community, as they have him for so many years, and he is a supporter of many charitable causes such as the Wounded Warrior Project, United Way, the Lions Club, and Special Olympics, to name a few.
